The Saudi Nationalization Scheme, commonly known as Saudization, makes it essential for firms and enterprises operating in Saudi Arabia to hire a specified proportion of Saudi Nationals as employees. Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, imposed limitations on customer service outsourcing to nations outside of Saudi Arabia in February of this year and expanded this programme to include customer support outsourcing. The historic decision to "Saudize" customer service is based on the ambitious plan envisioned by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to diversify the Saudi region's economy by creating job opportunities for the young.
